Which one is your favourite?
So our trip started out from Jungle Roots Bar @ Kwang Pao Beach where we gathered 9.am to load all our stuff into the longtail boat. The boat ride out to Koh Wang Nok then took 30-40 min, the Sea was just perfect and still with no waves in sight.
Our friend brought his little puppy dog FoFo aswell so Cissi had a friend to play with. :)
Outside Jungle Roots Bar, Kwang Pao Beach, Khanom.
As I had been to Koh Wang Nok before, one time last year I thought it was a good idea to go to the West side of the Island where ”P’Sua”(Tiger) aka Robinson lives. He is the caretaker of the Island and stays there permanently with his 3 dogs and random fishermen who dock there from time to time.
P’Sua was happy to see us and the gifts we came bearing. But he was a little bit concerned over that we brought our two dogs cause one of his pitbulls would kill them in a second he said. And we believed him and decided to set up our Camp as far away from his house as possible(200m:). He kept his dog in a chain the whole weekend for our safety. So no problem, and the other two dogs of his was super friendly.
We found a good spot for our tents and then we just enjoyed the Island.
Swimming, Sunbathing, Shellhunts, Fishing, Rafting, Trekking, Music & Drinks etc.
A nice, relaxing good Day! :)
Our first evening we had a great time going around with the raft in the glittery water. The Sunset was beautiful and we ate superfresh fish bbq, drank and enjoyed ourselves under the Stars. <3
Oh take me back to this beautiful untouched Island! Im starting to realize more and more that luxury isn’t expensive hotels, fancy cars & gold and diamonds.. At least not for me! For me it is places like this Island where you can be alone on a white beach, swim in the clear water and enjoy unspoiled nature and life in the Sea as you hardly don’t see it anymore. Feeling so blessed.
When we went to Lanta we stayed @ ”The Hut” that is located next to the Klong Nin Beach. Just a cozy and perfect place to stay with a oldstyle Bamboo hut feeling. The owners and the staff are so friendly so it felt good to be back there for our third visit in 2 years.
Can’t wait to go back there again.. ;)
So after talking and trying to organize it for such a long time we finally did it!
We went CAMPING on a quiet Jungle Beach here in Khanom and it was AMAZING!!
Of course I forgot my camera:( but was lucky enough to use my friends phone fore some quick captures.
I learned that its just to go do it! And not wait around for those people who says they want to go but never does. This time I just said to Man in the Morning Lets go Camping tonight! And he said Yes, so we did! :)
We saw a beautiful Sunset, had the Beach all to ourselves not a living soul there, the Stars were so bright, it was plankton(mareld) which always brings a magical feeling, the Sunrise was amazing with a big red Sun. We had coffee in the Morning and Cissi was the perfect camping guard dog, my morning dip was one of my best ever, what a feeling while watching the Sun rise!
So it was kind of a perfect experiance and Im ready for another night under the Stars..
