I always had a thing for Thai houses/huts. They come in so many different kind of styles and shapes. They might be basic & simple but so cute and creative and functional. Love them.

Fell in love with this cute House at Koh Phayam! Just loved how they had mixed the old style roof with a little bit more modern style. And I really like Houses with horizontal wood paneling like this. And also the color was refreshing, you don’t see Houses like this one around Thailand. So, good inspiration!
So our trip started out from Jungle Roots Bar @ Kwang Pao Beach where we gathered 9.am to load all our stuff into the longtail boat. The boat ride out to Koh Wang Nok then took 30-40 min, the Sea was just perfect and still with no waves in sight.
Our friend brought his little puppy dog FoFo aswell so Cissi had a friend to play with. :)
Outside Jungle Roots Bar, Kwang Pao Beach, Khanom.
As I had been to Koh Wang Nok before, one time last year I thought it was a good idea to go to the West side of the Island where ”P’Sua”(Tiger) aka Robinson lives. He is the caretaker of the Island and stays there permanently with his 3 dogs and random fishermen who dock there from time to time.
P’Sua was happy to see us and the gifts we came bearing. But he was a little bit concerned over that we brought our two dogs cause one of his pitbulls would kill them in a second he said. And we believed him and decided to set up our Camp as far away from his house as possible(200m:). He kept his dog in a chain the whole weekend for our safety. So no problem, and the other two dogs of his was super friendly.
We found a good spot for our tents and then we just enjoyed the Island.
Swimming, Sunbathing, Shellhunts, Fishing, Rafting, Trekking, Music & Drinks etc.
A nice, relaxing good Day! :)
Our first evening we had a great time going around with the raft in the glittery water. The Sunset was beautiful and we ate superfresh fish bbq, drank and enjoyed ourselves under the Stars. <3
Oh take me back to this beautiful untouched Island! Im starting to realize more and more that luxury isn’t expensive hotels, fancy cars & gold and diamonds.. At least not for me! For me it is places like this Island where you can be alone on a white beach, swim in the clear water and enjoy unspoiled nature and life in the Sea as you hardly don’t see it anymore. Feeling so blessed.
Have been very busy the last week with another Camping trip, friends/guests ,roadtrips and working out at the gym etc. But got a lot of pictures to share so will try to do that this week.
Here is some pics from my new favorite restaurant in Khanom the ”Krua Khlong Kura” its so pretty by the River and the food is great!
